RCC Background:
Will Gray is one of the true innovators of RCC construction in the United States. As a founding member of the company in 1999, Will has been intimately involved in every aspect of RCC, including product promotion, feasibility, estimating, bidding, and construction. He has played an instrumental role in paving over 7M square yards of RCC on some of the biggest and most recognized projects in the United States including the Honda Facility, I-285 & SR-6 for GDOT, and the Norfolk International Terminal in Virginia. Will is an expert in his field and has traveled the Southeast as a speaker to various audiences. In addition, Will has provided his insight as an “expert witness” on both the serviceability of RCC paving and the need for remediation. In addition, Will has led AGP’s growth into PCC paving, including
managing several airport projects, SR 20 in Decatur, and Arkadelphia Road (Us Hwy 78) in Birmingham, AL. In 2017, the American Concrete Paving Association (ACPA) recognized the Jack Edwards Airport, in Gulf Shores, AL, as a paving award winner in General Aviation Airports category.
Previous Experience:
Prior to co-founding A.G. Peltz in 1999, Will learned valuable materials experience at both Vulcan Materials Company (1997-1999), and Boral (1993-1997). At VMC Will was thoroughly involved in all aspects of aggregate production and testing, including the design of concrete mixes. Will also received first hand knowledge of the importance of well graded aggregates in an RCC mixture. In fact, while employed at VMC, he was instrumental in designing the first RCC mix placed in the State of Alabama in 1999.
Prior to joining Vulcan, Will worked for Boral in the Admixtures Division. Will held multiple roles within Boral including time as the Technical Sale Representative for both fly ash and chemical admixtures for concrete. This valuable materials background has served Will well as a leading mixture design expert on RCC Paving.

Personal: Will and his wife, Ashley, have a daughter, Elizabeth Reid, and a son, Garrett. Will lives in Birmingham, AL and enjoys outdoor activities, including fishing and hunting.
