What is the RCC Council?

The RCC Pavement Council is a volunteer industry trade association representing the interest of those involved with the construction of Roller Compacted Concrete Pavements. The RCC Pavement Council supports Research and Promotion to improve the quality of RCC pavements and expand their use in a responsible and sustainable manner.

“Our mission is to sustainably grow the market size for Roller Compacted Concrete Pavement Construction.”

What are the benefits to my company for joining the Council?

From limited uses in the Canadian logging industry in the 1970s to dramatic growth in the last decade across a variety of mainstream paving applications, Roller Compacted Concrete continues to ascend from a niche product to a viable, economical paving alternative. Joining the council will place your company at the forefront of this emerging pavement technology. With the Council’s focus on end-users, all members will benefit from the increased project opportunities generated by Council members. In addition, contractors, equipment vendors, materials suppliers, and pavement engineers will have access to the needs and concerns of their customer base as well as the opportunity to benchmark and develop best construction practices. The members also participate in and learn from emerging research and product development, allowing them to better serve both existing and future customers. The RCC Pavement Council represents the most knowledgeable and experienced group of companies associated with Roller Compacted Concrete pavements today.

How much does it cost to join?

The RCC Council dues are $3,000 per year for all member companies. Since the Council is a volunteer organization with limited overhead costs, 100% of all dues are applied towards council goals and programs. Additional information on the Council activities is available under the RCC Promotion and Research teams.

How can I get involved on the Council?

The Council has 2 committees (Promotion & Research) and each member company may assign a volunteer to participate on either or both committees. Participation in council activities is highly encouraged but not required. Upon joining the Council, you will be contacted by the Committee Chairman further explaining their missions and upcoming opportunities.
