Description:

16500 cubic yards of State Route Shoulder and Median Construction. State Route 6 was completely reconstructed using continuously reinforced concrete for the travel lanes and RCC for the outside shoulders and median pavement. Project marked the first time RCC was used in the travel way on a State Route in the United States. The project won the 2007 SCAN Quality Award for concrete pavement construction.
